Resources For Students

In addition to the SCAA, there are many on-campus resources available to support Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV students on their paths to success.

The Advising Resource Centers (ARC) serves as a central hub to facilitate connections between students and their advisors. It also serves as the central hub for several signature programs, including support for undeclared students, international students, the Program for Accelerated College Education (PACE), and Pioneer Success Coaches.

The STEM LAB, housed in the College of Science, is a community learning space that connects students with undergraduate Learning Assistants (LAs) and graduate Teaching Associates (TAs). This study space is designed to support students in specific courses for BIOL, CS, MATH, PHYS, and STAT. Students are encouraged to drop in with questions for the LAs, use the space to meet with study groups, or work on homework.
The Speech Lab in the Department of Communication provides support and assistance to the campus community for presentations, public speaking, and other communication-related assignments.
The Career Empowerment Center (CEC) is here to help you make sense of your possible career options and provide you with the tools and connections to support yourself through a lifetime of career changes. No matter where you are in your academic or postgraduate journey, it’s never too soon to start planning your next career step.
The Student Equity & Success Center works collaboratively with students, faculty, administrators and staff to enhance the CSUEB experience. Our programs are designed to retain and graduate low-income, first generation, historically underrepresented and underserved student populations.

Members of the SCAA Learning Community create handouts on topics they believe best serve student needs. Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV students, staff, and faculty are invited to browse and download.
