Students that have applied for the Fall 2023 term and have not been notified of their admission yet are welcome to attend this event, along with their family members.
Admitted students are not required to attend Welcome Day. This is an opportunity to celebrate with family and friends your admission, and to share why Cal State Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV is your university of choice!
No, Welcome Day is not a substitution for mandatory Orientation for freshman and transfer students. Be sure to register for Orientation at the Orientation website.
Welcome Day also does not take the place of academic advising provided by AACE. AACE can help you choose your classes to fit a pathway to earning your degree.
Designed for admitted students and their families to learn more about the University, Welcome Day is an opportunity for students to get excited and to learn more about joining the Pioneer Community, and to commit to attending Cal State Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV by the May 1 deadline.

If you have required documents outstanding, you can turn them in by email or postal mail. Visit How to Submit Documents on the website for details, including how to send electronic transcripts for faster processing.
