Billiards Table Rules
- The RED table can be reserved for 30 minutes
- The GREEN/BLUE tables can be reserved for 60 minutes
- Patrons are not allowed to lean, sit, or lay on any of the billiards tables
- Do NOT attempt jump shots on the billiards tables
- The patron who made a table reservation must be present for their reservation to start. Patrons cannot “give” their reservation to another patron)
- Patrons are not allowed to “Table-Hop”, defined by engaging in a service/reservation on one table for the duration of the service, and then jumping onto another table’s subsequent reservation.
- Gambling is not allowed in the GameZone. Any form of currency displayed on a table may be interpreted as gambling. Cases related to gambling will also involve the filing of a report with the Office of Student Conduct, Rights and Responsibilities.
General GameZoneRules (GameRoom and GameCave)
- CSU Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Students and other campus affiliates (faculty/staff) must present their Bay Card (physical or digital) to the Agent in the GameRoom or GameCave to use GameZone services.
- Tournament participation is prioritized for current CSU Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV students. Fac/Staff are welcome to participate if space allows.
- Non CSU Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Students and/or Guests, (those without a baycard or net ID) may accompany current CSU Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV students to the GameZone and use equipment that is checked out under the current student’s account. Guests must be 18 years or older and are required to fill out a general use waiver. Guests are not eligible to participate in tournaments.
- Food must not be consumed inside the GameRoom or GameCave. Drinks are allowed but must be kept in a resealable container. Food containers must be put away.
- Most services are reserved for a maximum of 60 minutes unless otherwise stated. After a reservation time ends, all patrons who engaged in the previous reservation/service must wait 10 minutes (cooling off period) before requesting to reserve the same service. If no other patrons are waiting for that same service, the previous patron(s) can to continue play / engage in the service, until a new patron arrives and requests the service, or the 10 minute cooling off period concludes.
- Patrons are not allowed to book multiple concurrent services or back to back services without waiting for 10 minutes (cooling off period).
- Services may be requested 10 minutes prior to the current reservation end time.
- If a patron/group fails to adhere to rules and policies, service may be discontinued at any time, and/or additional reservation requests may be denied. The occurrence may also be reported to the Associate Director of RAW/UU Operations for follow up.
- Patrons are responsible for the timely return and condition of the equipment they checked out. Failure to return any equipment will result in documentation and a report forwarded to the Office of Student Conduct, or the University Police Department for theft. Patrons who fail to return equipment may lose their GameZone access privileges.
- Please do not touch the screens/consoles/game disks. An Agent will set it up and take it down for you.
- GameZone is not responsible for patrons' personal belongings. Lost and found items are passed on to the University Union Operations Team and subsequently turned in to the University Police Department.
- Please be aware of your surroundings and respect other users around you. Swearing, obscenities, and excessive shouting will not be tolerated. If you are disruptive you will be asked to leave.
- We reserve the right to remove any patron from the GameZone if they fail to comply with any of the above rules
- Should a patron violate any of these rules, they may lose the ability to use the GameZone. Any cases related to acts of violence or assault will also involve the filing of a police report and adjudication by the Office of Student Conduct, Rights and Responsibilities. Patrons may have their access suspended while the Office of Student Conduct process proceeds.
