Obtaining a Police Report Copy

 

Who is the requestor?

  • CSU Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV employee:
    • If you are an employee of CSUEB requesting a report for yourself, you may request the report by submitting the UPD - CSU Staff Police Report Request (SELF) form via .
    • If you are an employee of CSUEB completing the request form for another CSUEB employee (for example, an Administrative Assistant completing the form for a faculty employee), you may request the report by submitting the UPD - CSU Staff Police Report Request (PREPARER) form via .

 

  • General Public (including CSUEB students):
    • If you are a member of the general public directly involved in a police report, such as being the victim of a crime or a driver/property owner in an accident, you may request the report by filling out the Request for Copy of Police Report form and submitting it in-person at UPD or by mail.

Once your request has been received, the Records Unit will contact you within 10 days to advise you of the status of your request. Please note that processing time will vary depending on the incident. Be prepared to present a valid I.D. upon accepting the report.
