Letters of Good Standing
General Letters of Good Standing may be provided to Credential Program Students in the last semester of their program upon request.
The letter indicates when a credential candidate is expected to complete the coursework portion of the credential program and it verifies what authorizations will be allowed under the respective credential.
Letters of Good Standing may be requested after Census date (20th instructional date of the semester).
Please follow the procedures below to request a Letter of Good Standing:
- You can send your email request to the Department Chair or
to: credentials@csueastbay.edu with Letter of Good Standing request-your full name in the subject line. - In the request, please provide:
- Your full legal name (your name that is on your educator profile with the CTC)
- Your CSU Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Net ID
- The credential program you are completing or have completed.
- Requirement that needs to be completed and Date you plan to complete requirement
- updated attachments of documents not submitted previously should be submitted to the CSSC: TB test, CTC document, BSR (i.e. CBEST), SMC (i.e. CSETs)
- Upon review-Within approximately 7-10 business days of receiving your request, the Department Chair will email your Letter of Good Standing.
- You will be emailed if there are questions.
Due to privacy restrictions, we cannot send these letters to a third party.
For your planning, please know that requests are handled on a first-come, first-served basis although the official processing of credential documents will take precedence over verification requests.
You also have the option to contact the Office of the Registrar for they have access to your full record.
