How To Use TES

provides the list for equivalencies between Cal State Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV and other Community Colleges and Universities. You can also find out which courses you can take at a Community College that will transfer to Cal State Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV (always confirm your choices with an Academic Advisor).

Quick Instructions To Use TES

  1. Go to , then search for the school you attended by using “INSTITUTION SEARCH” (make sure you spell out the full name of the college).
  2. Select the college you have searched for, then click on the search box to search for the class you have attended by typing in the course code and click search.
  3. The search results will show an equivalency list of the class you took and what is equivalent to CSUEB’s requirements.

If your course is not listed:

  • Make sure you are searching for the correct prefix first (ex. biosc).
  • If it’s still not listed it may not be articulated yet, this is common for out-of-state schools.
  • Always meet with your major advisor, reach out to your major department to request a meeting. If your advisor thinks the course should meet a requirement, they can request a substitution or a new articulation will be approved.
