SLHS Milestones
1970 - department was founded by Bill Rosenthal, Robert A. Veder, and Rhoda Agin (all emeritus faculty)
1976 - the onsite speech clinic was established

2014 - the clinic is renamed the Norma S and Ray R Rees clinic after Dr. Norma Rees in recognition of her leadership and contributions to the field.
Dr. Rees was President of CSU Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV from 1990-2006

2023 - LLAMA received the 2023 American Kinesiology Association's Diversity Equity and Inclusion Student Impact Award
