Faculty Excellence Awards – funding awarded at the university level that recognizes our most motivated and dedicated faculty for their ideas, strategies, excellence in teaching, and research and service. Funding will also include a stipend for a variety of activities, such as development of new teaching materials or courses, research, or to support attendance at professional conferences and workshops.
Endowed Chair – supplemental income to a faculty member that recognizes achievement and provides time away from teaching to conduct specific research, energizing their work and impacting future curriculum and students.
Research Assistantships and Fellowships – financial support to students to incentivize the high-impact practice of participation in a faculty mentored research project. This practice is often transformative for students and has direct influence on their chosen career field and body of work, as well as hiring potential to future employers.
Student Awards, Research Stipends/Grants – student recognition and research grants that provide financial and/or material support for implementing projects, show investment in student ideas and potential, and support equity among those who have to choose between paying jobs outside the university and activities that further their academic interests.
