Cal State Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV graduate shares the story of the birth of his daughter and his career.
Isaiah de la Cruz graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with honors in 2019. While at Cal State Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV, he was elected to serve in student government as the Senator of the College of Business and Economics and founded a student chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA). He served as ALPFA President for three years, led a team of Board of Directors, mentored many students, and hosted 25 professional development workshops and conferences.
He also became a father at age 19.
Isaiah is currently a Credit Analyst at BAC Community Bank and is a subject-matter expert for the Paycheck Protection Program, a program designed to provide cash to businesses weathering the COVID pandemic.
